Found the "right" kilt at the Mall of America shop |

On a cross-country road trip my wife and I visited the Mall of America and stumbled upon the Got Kilt store. I was actually hoping to find a nice utility kilt and was impressed with the Modern Kilts on display. I actually have a several-years-old AmeriKilt that is showing signs of wear. Because the AmeriKilt is no longer available I was happy to find the Modern Kilt.
So, why the woman's kilt for me. Easy, I have short legs and the off-the-rack men's kilts were all too long. There was a 40"x20" on the ladiies' side of the store and I knew that would fit.
The fabric is robust, the craftsmanship is very good and once I got the buckles adjusted to my shape it fits perfectly. I like the fact that I can pull it on (a slight struggle to get past my hips) and, once in place, it stays in place without the need of a belt. Convenient, looks good and gets compliments - what's not to like?
My quest is now to find another kilt, just like this one, in a denim (think blue jeans) fabric.
